Malaria:

Nsele Safari Lodge is situated within a mosquito area and it is advisable to take malaria precaution and to take the necessary Antimalarial drugs before your visit (PLEASE ASK ASSISTANCE FROM YOUR MEDICAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER OR THE PHARMACY).

At the Lodge we offer anti-mosquito spray, as well as the necessary precautions within the chalets.  Adding to this we let down our romantic mosquito nets over each bed, just before you turn in for a wonderful night’s rest.

Other Information:

Drink enough water to keep you hydrated in the summer heat – Nsele water is pure and safe to drink. However, we do have bottled water available.

Keep yourself protected from the sun's rays with hats, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Take along a set of comfortable walking shoes and socks for comfortable bush walking.

The summer temperatures range from a mild 27°C to a steamy 39°C... then some days it can be cool when the clouds after rain remain on the horizon and block out the sun – a light jacket will be in order to stay comfortable.

The winter temperatures are mild during the day ranging from 20 to 30°C. Night time temperatures drop to about 14°C and it is advisable to bring along a warm jacket. (The wind chill on game drives can be quite cold – bring your jacket along for this.)

Bring with ample camera films and batteries and do not forget your binoculars for game viewing or bird watching.

We do have a laundry service available at the Lodge at a modest fee.
